There are three primary methods for using Listening AI with ScreenApp.
Method 1: Record New Audio

Method 2: Upload a Pre-existing File
Use this method if you already have a saved audio file.

- Paste the direct link to the recording and begin the import.

- Start Asking Questions
- Open the imported file from your dashboard.
- Find the Ask AI chat box and type in any question you have about the recording’s content to get an immediate response.
How to Interact with Listening AI
The Ask AI chat is a powerful tool. Here are some tips for using it effectively:
- Be Specific: Instead of “What was this about?”, ask “What were the key arguments about the Q3 financial results?”
- Ask for Definitions: If you encounter a complex term, ask “What is the definition of ‘quantum entanglement’ mentioned in the lecture?”
- Find Timestamps: Ask questions like, “Where in the recording do they start discussing the marketing plan?” The AI will often provide a timestamp you can click.
- Have a Conversation: Ask follow-up questions to dig deeper into a topic and explore the content interactively.
Troubleshooting
- Inaccurate Answers: The quality of the AI’s answers depends on the audio quality. For best results, use recordings with clear speech and minimal background noise.
- Processing is Taking a While: Longer files (over an hour) can take several minutes to process. You will be notified when your file is ready to be queried.
