Why Connect ScreenApp with Claude?
ScreenApp’s MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration allows Claude to “see” and “hear” your video library without you having to manually upload files. By connecting ScreenApp as a custom connector in Claude, you can ask questions like “What did we decide about the marketing budget in last week’s meeting?” and get an answer based on your actual recording transcripts.
How It Works
- Go to Settings: Log in to your ScreenApp dashboard and navigate to “Settings” > “Integrations”.
- Select Connect: Find the Connect to Claude (MCP) section.
- Get Server URL: Copy the provided Server URL.
- Configure Claude:
- Open Claude (web or desktop).
- Go to Settings > Connectors.
- Click “Add custom connector”.
- Name it “ScreenApp” and paste the Server URL.
- Authorize: Follow the prompts to log in and grant access.
- Start Chatting: You can now ask Claude questions about your ScreenApp recordings directly.
Key Benefits
Instant Knowledge Retrieval
Stop searching through hours of video. Just ask Claude, “Find the part where we discussed the Q3 roadmap,” and it will locate the relevant information from your transcripts.
Automated Summaries
Ask Claude to “Summarize the last 3 user interviews” and it will pull the data directly from your ScreenApp library to create a comprehensive report.
Secure & Private
Your data stays in ScreenApp. The MCP protocol allows Claude to access the context it needs to answer your questions without permanently ingesting your entire library.
